Eugene Knifeshow 2001

The 2001 Eugene show was the first real show I've been to. This year at around 415 (or was it 450?) tables it is now the largest (table wise) knife show in the world. The Bybee's (Titanium-Man.Com) were kind enough to let me tag along with them. This show marked the first time they had a table at a show - I know this is a shameless plug for them (hey it's my site) but if you need titanium, you need to talk to them.

Words cannot describe how great this show was for me. I got to meet a lot of makers who I've only read about in the magazines, people I've emailed with from the various forums, and got to hang out with friends like the Bybee's, Daniel and Nancy from BladeGallery, Tom Mayo and Ken Onion.

Can you imagine a trip to Wayne Goddard's house?

Chuck got to buy one of Mr. Goddard's anvils, so we had to stop by his house to pick it up.
